How it all Started
Ever since I was a little girl I've always been interested in singing. Growing up I wanted to become a singer but as I got older I found that I had a passion for helping others and I got into the medical field, and I became a registered nurse. After COVID hit I realized that the medical field wasn't exactly as it was prior to COVID and the medical field is in definite need of adjustment. As one person I knew that I could not fix an entire system to be up to par with where the medical field should be, but there is one thing that I could do to help others. I could bring the joy and happiness of music to people. Working mostly in psychiatric nursing, I found music is by far the best kind of “medication,” in my opinion, to people. Statistically shown music can hit all parts of the brain lobes simultaneously, and I have personally seen it provide miracles to people and their families. I would also use KAREOKE specifically to help with providing my own self-care mechanism to aid my own mental health. Seeing the miracles that provided patients and to my own self I started thinking why not bring that same joy to others? That is how CARE-E-OK started.

The CARE (in CARE-E-OK) stands for the care and passion to each and everyone. The E (in CARE-E-OK) stands for my first initial, Erica. The OK (in CARE-E-OK) stands for how music makes you feel just a little bit better in any situation.
Not only do we offer DJ and karaoke services for private events and parties, along with business coordination, but we also offer a private mental health singing package for those that are in need of music to help make them feel a little bit better.
